Learn how to replace nest security sensor batteries. The nest security sensors have a battery life typically between 6 months and 3 years.
The nest security sensors use a CR 123 lithium battery. To change the nest security sensor battery you must remove the front face of larger peice of the 2 part nest security system sensor. The front of the nest security sensor pulls down and outwards.
Once you have removed the nest security sensor your can then remove the battery.
