In this video we teach you how to factory reset an Amazon Basics Smart Dimmer Switch so that you can reset the device and set it up on your Amazon Alexa account and control it with via your phone or voice commands.
How To Reset Amazon Basics Smart Dimmer Switch & How To Reset Amazon Basics Smart Switch.
1. Hold down the power button for 10-15 seconds until the status light on the device starts flashing red and green. Keep holding the power button down till the light starts flashing green. Once it’s flashing green you can release the power button the device has been factory reset and is ready to be set back up on the Amazon Alexa App.
2. Download and install the Amazon Alexa app and create an account if you have not already done so. Open the Amazon Alexa app and follow the instructions to add a device on the Alexa App.
