This video shows you how to factory reset LIFX smart light bulbs to enable them to be set up on a new wifi network, or if you are having problems getting them connected.
If you are trying to get your LIFX smart light bulbs connected and the app won’t find them resetting your smart light bulbs to factory default settings and setting them back up will often fix the issue and allow you to connect your LIFX smart light bulbs.
To Reset LIFX:
1. You will need to have your LIFX smart light bulbs powered up when you start.
2. Turn them on and off 5 times either with a light switch or by unplugging or plugging back in the light fixture with the LIFX bulb installed.
3. When you plug in the light fixture for the 5th time the smart light bulb will flash and then go through a dimming sequence that lets you know that the device has been reset.
