You’ll install and monitor the #iSmartSafe system yourself using the Carener2 app, which has decent ratings from Android users and not-so-decent ratings from iPhone users. Among iSmartSafe’s strengths include their lack of monthly contracts, high customer support ratings, local storage, and integration with Amazon Alexa. I also love that cellular backup is included in the system, because it’ll make sure everything stays on even if the power goes out.
However, iSmartSafe has its disadvantages as well. It’s definitely not for someone who’s looking for professional monitoring or cloud storage, plus, the camera itself doesn’t integrate with Alexa, only the system. In general, the system’s camera was not up to my standards. Note: Since the camera that comes with the Economy Package uses a separate app, we didn’t cover it in our video review.
