Maybe you live in an apartment, are renting your property or have a door with a peephole. The #RingDoorViewCam, now named the #RingPeepholeCam, was designed specifically for peepholes, allowing you to see who’s at your door remotely through the Ring — Always Home app.

In this review, I go over the Ring Door View Cam’s design, features, installation process, and app before making a recommendation at the end of the video. Of course, I’m going to apply Security Baron’s Necessary Features Test to the #RingDoorViewCam, making sure it meets industry standards in video, audio, night vision, storage, smart platform integrations, and artificial intelligence. With 1080p HD video display, an integration with Amazon Alexa and two-way audio, I have a pretty good feeling that the Ring Door View Cam is going to do well.
Overall, I was satisfied with the #RingPeepholeCam. For a pretty standard price, it has excellent video, audio, and night vision, an Alexa integration, and peephole coverage which is pretty rare when it comes to video doorbells. However, it’s not for you if you wanted person detection, an integration with Google Assistant, or free storage.
