The best thing about the #RingVideoDoorbell3 is that it works on a 5Ghz network, meaning that you’ll receive notifications faster than ever before. Of course, we had to test that out to make sure it was true, because at $199.99, this video doorbell isn’t a purchase you make without doing some serious research.

13:16 Who Is the Ring Video Doorbell 3 Good For?
The third iteration of Ring’s original Video Doorbell, the #RingVideoDoorbell3, offers the same 1080p HD video, infrared night vision, and two-way audio as its predecessors. However, it works with a 5Ghz network, which means that, if the camera detected motion, we got notifications much faster than we had the video doorbell hooked up to our 2.4Ghz network. But aside from that, this video doorbell doesn’t do much to improve upon Ring’s design or subscription plays.
We recommend checking out the Ring Protect plans, which offer 60 days of cloud storage, discounts on Ring’s website, plus 24/7 professional monitoring and cellular backup, if you buy the Protect Plus plan. In this video, we’ll go over everything you need to know about the Ring Video Doorbell 3, namely, is it the right video doorbell for you?
