Although they’re one of the newer players in the smart home game, they’ve managed to best everyone in terms of pricing and in some cases, quality. But one disadvantage of Wyze is that they only offer indoor cameras, namely the Wyze Cam and the Wyze Cam Pan.
This video shows you how to make your #WyzeCamOutdoor by adding the Wyze Cam Outdoor Cover, available on Amazon. This protective cover, costing only $11.99 or $16.99 for two, will actually turn the regular old Wyze Cam into a pan, allowing for 360 degrees of rotation plus a 90 degree tilt. Mount it on a ceiling or wall, given you have some space outdoors, and turn your $20 indoor camera into an outdoor camera!
