We’ve been waiting for Wyze to come out with an outdoor camera for quite some time, and the time has finally come! The #WyzeCamOutdoor is available for $49.99, which includes the camera itself as well as a base station; is it worth the price?

The #WyzeCamOutdoor has an IP rating of 65, meaning it is completely dust-tight and can even handle low-pressure water jets. From temperatures from negative four degrees all the way up to 120 degrees Fahrenheit, this camera is set to work in rain, snow or shine. Some other features we’ll be looking at are the camera’s 1080p HD video, infrared night vision, two-way audio, micro-SD card and cloud storage, and person detection. Note that the #WyzeCamOutdoor requires a base station, but you can connect up to four cameras to one base station; after the starter kit, additional cameras cost 39.99 each. Did I mention they’re wireless with battery lives of three to six months?
