The key differences between #Frontpoint and #Lifeshield? While Frontpoint makes you do 24/7 professional monitoring, Lifeshield gives you the option to self-monitor, which I appreciate. In the same vein, Frontpoint only offers contracts with terms of one or three years, while Lifeshield has a month-to-month option. Finally, Frontpoint’s contracts are binding- if you cancel before your contract is over, you’ll need to pay 80% of the remainder, while you can negotiate cancellation fees with your Lifeshield sales person.
Aside from monitoring, both systems include keypad panels, entry sensors, motion sensors, smoke/ heat sensors, and indoor cameras. I threw in a video doorbell, smart lock, and radio with Frontpoint, and a base station, keychain remote, and wireless security tablet with Lifeshield.
